École Du Monde opens the doors to Geneva, Switzerland, and the rest of the French-speaking world. For over 10 years we have been providing high quality French lessons taught by certified teachers.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer l'ouverture d'un cours de niveau C1 à partir de la rentrée 2012.

May I begin at another level besides Beginner?

Yes. We evaluate your level of French with a free trial course. To do this, you should contact the school to set up a convenient time to meet.

Can I register from outside Switzerland?

Yes. You can register from any part of the world and you can do it online on the Enrollment page. More information is available on the FAQ page.

Do you offer housing for your students?

No. Students should look for housing on their own. You will find some helpfull sites in the Links section and more information on the FAQ page.

May I apply for a Student Visa if I register at École du Monde from outside Switzerland?

Yes. We will provide you with an Enrollment Certificate once we have received the enrollment fee (CHF 50.-) and payment for 4 weeks of classes (CHF 600.-). This form should be included in your application for the Student Visa. Please be sure to read further information on the Staying in Geneva and FAQ pages. Is there an admision exam?

No. However, we can evaluate your level of French with a free trial course. Then we can indicate to you the class we consider the most appropriate for your level.

What is the total price for a complete year of study?

The base price is CHF 600.- for a period of 4 weeks of classes. Taking into account vacation periods, a complete year of study will cost around CHF 6,000.-.

Can you help me obtain a Student B Permit if I study at École du Monde?

Yes. If you are a EU/EFTA citizen, we will provide you with an Enrollment Certificate once we have received the enrollment fee (CHF 50.-) and payment for 4 weeks of classes (CHF 600.-). You should then present this form (along with other necessary documents) to the Office Cantonal de la Population du Canton de Genève (OCP) when making your request.
